Awhile back someone gave me advice that people should divide their time into thirds.

1/3 of your time should be spent with people below your skill level in your field so you can teach them and learn again.

1/3 of your time with someone on your level - you can bond with someone going through the same struggles you are.

1/3 of your time with someone above your level so you can learn.

This article reminded me of that my friend!
